Cassi the Dog

We have a new member of the family. Cassi is, we think, a Labrador/Whippet combo. She’s older, one vet said between 3 and 5, but we think she might be a little older. It’s hard to tell because she was found on the street a couple neighborhoods over. She’s still recovering from whatever she went through.
We found her through the ads at work. Ryan and I went to meet her last week and we brought her home - she’s very sweet, very calm, and loves to go for walks and rides in the car. She sleeps under my desk when I’m working.
She gets along great with the two cats and the kids, a great addition so far!

Wrigleyville: Brian and Emily in Chicago

Emily was in Chicago for the SHRM conference. I followed up for a couple days at the end of the week, and we got to go to Wrigley Field and watch my beloved Cubbies play the Orioles. While the game was not so great (11-4 loss), we had a great time.

Austin Trip Highlights

Okay, so these are waaaaay late, but here are a few photos and one video from our trip to Austin with the Albrittons. We had a lot of fun, despite Scott’s bike breaking down. We had no schedule, just had a blast, took a lot of back roads on the bikes, and enjoyed the heck out of ourselves.
